The Monolith Construction Company Builds More Than Just Structures

Last October 23, the Quezon City-based Monolith Construction and Development Corporation assembled and packed 2,520 packets of rice meals, filling up around 70 boxes for the school feeding program of Gota de Leche. The event was spearheaded by Gota de Leche, Rise Against Hunger, and Monolith Construction which saw 100 volunteers from the engineering company divide into two groups for the meal packing event – the first group in the morning, and the second in the afternoon.

The meal packing event was held at the Monolith head office parking lot at Scout Limbaga in Quezon City.

The first batch of volunteers put together 1,260 packs of rice meals. At around 1 PM, the second batch also managed to put together roughly the same amount of rice packs, completing the meal packing event at around 2 PM.
