Gota de Leche Publishes Phyllis Zaballero Art Calendar

Gota de Leche is raising funds for its feeding program for indigent children by selling 2015 desk calendars with 12 artworks, one for each month, by noted artist Phyllis Zaballero. To discover more of Phyllis’ work, visit www.phylliszaballero.com

The desk calendar itself is packaged in a plastic CD-style case that serves as a desk stand. A sample page is attached.

Price for each set is Php 200, the proceeds are earmarked for the Gota de Leche feeding program. To introduce the Gota de Leche feeding program: La Protección de la Infancia, Inc., known for its century-old program “Gota de Leche” (drop of milk), is the oldest charity organisation in the Philippines, and has provided milk, food supplements and pediatric care to children without any interruption since its founding in 1905.

Between 2013 and 2014, more than 1,200 indigent children, breast-feeding mothers and families from Manila, Iloilo, Cebu and Leyte have benefited from its programs. Every single contribution to Gota de Leche translates to the benefit of many.

Its headquarters in Sampaloc, Manila, are in a 100 year old heritage building that has been declared by the National Museum of the Philippines as an Important Cultural Property, and the building itself is a UNESCO Asia-Pacific Cultural Heritage awardee.
