La Proteccíon de la Infancia, Inc. Plans Strategic Direction for the Next 5 Years

On August 25, 2015, the officers and staff of La Proteccíon de la Infancia, Inc. held a meeting to review their Program Implementation for the years 2012-2015, and to plan their Strategic Direction for the years 2016-2020.

The meeting’s objectives included reviewing plans versus accomplishment, reviewing strategic plans for 2012-2015 versus actual performance, and developing major strategic direction for the next five years.

There are currently seven board members of the LPDI. The board discussed the need to get more people involved, specifically from the younger generation. Criteria for new membership will follow the institution’s vision, mission, principles, ideals, and programs.

In attendance were Architect Augusto F. Villalon, Board Member; Ms. Deana Ongpin-Recto, Board Member; Atty. Virginia B. Viray, Board Member; Ms. Rebecca N. Tanada; Dr. Jose Paulo Campos, member; Ms. Sinag De Leon Amado, Board member; Ms. Anna Leah Sarabia, ex-officio member and Secretary of the BOT meeting, Managing Director; Ms. Elflida Manlangit, Organizational Assessment Consultant; Ms Merle I. Pimentel, facilitator; Ms. Maria Luz D. Barnuevo, R. Belarmino & Co., CPAs, and Ms Mary Grace Gumata, Administration and Finance Officer.

Ms. Maria Elisa “Boots” Anson Roa, member, was not present at the meeting.
