On February 2, 2018, Gota de Leche’s Managing Executive Director Anna Leah Sarabia, along with Program Officer Farah Pareja and Program Support Specialist Marilou de la Cruz, traveled to San Narciso, Zambales for a MOA signing with some LGU officers there.

In attendance were 19 of 36 registered pregnant and lactating mothers between the ages of 13 to 19 years old. The participants were given an orientation on the Gota de Leche program for pregnant and lactating women, as well as on the rice meal packs and vitamins which were eventually distributed to the beneficiaries.

Next came the cooking demo of the rice meal packs, followed by the feeding, and the distribution of nutrition supplies (rice meal packs good for one month and vitamins good for two months). The remaining supplies were endorsed to the RHU-San Narciso to be given to the beneficiaries who were not present last February 2.

The joint health care work efforts of Gota de Leche and the town of San Narciso will hopefully result in multiple benefits for the Pregnant and Lactating mothers and their children.
