Ninotchka Rosca, will soon be a guest speaker at #FiLiA2025, Europe’s largest grassroots feminist conference
Ninotchka Rosca has long supported Gota de Leche, the Philippines’ oldest charity NGO founded in 1906 by the country’s first feministas. She was recently welcomed as a full member and will soon be a guest speaker at #FiLiA2025, Europe’s largest grassroots feminist conference.
FiLiA, meaning “daughter,” is a women-led volunteer organisation with charitable status that works to defend women’s human rights. Their mission is to build sisterhood and solidarity, amplify silenced voices, and contribute to the global Women’s Liberation Movement.
Since 2013, FiLiA has organised an annual international women’s rights conference, now a two-day event drawing participants from around the world. The gathering highlights activism, builds solidarity, and platforms women from 49 countries, thanks to thousands of volunteer hours each year.
